Periodontal, Restorative, Pathology & Radiographic in One Record
Every dental finding lives next to the medical context.
Record Integration unifies the full dental chart into a single patient-linked record: periodontal charting (pocket depths, bone loss, furcation, mobility, recession, AAP stage/grade), restorative history (missing teeth, restorations, caries), oral pathology (lesions, abscesses, infection severity), radiographic findings (bitewing, panoramic, periapical, CBCT), treatment plans, and visit history. Each record links to the patient's medical context, triggering correlation rules on ingestion.
Pocket depths per tooth surface, bone loss percentage, furcation involvement, mobility grading, recession, AAP stage I-IV and grade A-C.
Missing teeth, edentulous arches, restorations (tooth, type, material, date placed), and detected caries with severity.
Oral lesions with location, size, date first noted, biopsy performed, and biopsy result. Abscess presence, location, and infection severity tracked.
Bitewing, panoramic, periapical, and CBCT findings logged with x-ray date, bone level notes, and periapical pathology per tooth.
Dental record is loaded from the dental EHR or uploaded directly; record type (perio, restorative, pathology, radiographic, treatment, visit, exam) is set.
Record is linked to the Patient entity; dentist NPI and practice name are attached for attribution.
New findings trigger the 8 correlation rules; any matching rule generates a MedicalDentalAlert routed to the right provider.
Dental risk score components refresh from the new finding; quarterly trend and priority flag recompute.
“We ingested 2,400 periodontal charts in a weekend. By Monday morning, 17 oral-lesion biopsies were flagged for follow-up. That's the kind of screening that saves lives.”
